Greg Ray
Greg is a seasoned strategic communications and business development expert with a distinguished career spanning decades. As a former political journalist with the ABC and a war correspondent in Vietnam, he has a deep understanding of the political landscape and public discourse.
After serving as a political adviser to several Cabinet Ministers, Greg founded his own successful enterprise. His entrepreneurial ventures included public relations consultancies, an advertising agency, a political reporting service, a personnel consultancy, and a weekly newspaper. His innovative approach and strategic acumen led to the acquisition of his public relations interests by the global giant Hill & Knowlton, where he served as Managing Director for Australia.
Following his tenure at Hill & Knowlton, Greg joined Royce Communication and Business Strategists as Special Senior Counsel. He returned to Tasmania in 2013 to apply his expertise to local businesses and initiatives to his firm at Timmins Ray.
As a leading corporate strategist, Greg has advised a wide range of clients, including major corporations, government agencies, and not-for-profit organisations. His expertise in strategic planning, public awareness, stakeholder management, and crisis communication has earned him numerous awards and accolades throughout his career.
Greg is the Principal of The Stakeholder Relations Group and the creator of our proprietary stakeholder model.
Kristi Ray
Kristi brings over a decade of industry experience, beginning her career at Currie Communications in Melbourne. Her journey has taken her to diverse roles, including a significant stint with a prestigious Tasmanian firm specialising in high-level government partnerships.
During this time, she gained a deep understanding of the complexities of stakeholder management, the critical role of effective communication in driving business outcomes, and the nuances of navigating governmental and organisational landscapes.
As a former Communications Director for a Queensland-based company, Kristi’s expertise extended beyond traditional public relations. She played a pivotal role in developing and implementing corporate communication strategies, fostering strong relationships with key stakeholders, and managing crisis communications. Her ability to translate complex information into clear and compelling messages has consistently contributed to the success of organisations.
Kristi’s Bachelor’s degree in Communications provides a solid foundation for her professional accomplishments. Her academic training has equipped her with a strong understanding of communication theories, research methodologies, and best practices.

Jacinta brings over thirty years of experience in communication, sales, and marketing to SRG. Prior to joining our team, she focused on the strategic interplay between sales and marketing and how these functions impact business stakeholders.
Throughout her successful career, Jacinta has honed her skills in various regions, including New South Wales and Tasmania. Her deep understanding of diverse markets and audiences has equipped her to navigate complex business landscapes effectively.
